The Tour de Quiz includes all events organised by the Swiss Quiz Association (with the exception of the Swiss Championships, which are held separately). Points are awarded for each season of the online quiz and for the quizzes played on site, and the winner of the Tour de Quiz trophy is chosen at the end of the year based on the resulting ranking list.

For each quiz, the winner receives a certain maximum number of points. For all other ranks, points are awarded in proportion to the number of points achieved.

Example: The winner of the SwissQuiz has 60 correct answers and receives 750 points. Whoever answers 40 questions correctly receives 500 points (750*40/60). Whoever answers 12 questions correctly receives 150 points.

The maximum points per quiz are as follows:
